Summary
Eugenio Tranchino joined Watson, Farley &
Williams in 2002 to head the Rome office. He specialises in corporate and
project work with particular emphasis on power projects in Italy. He advises
private equity firms and utilities in M&A and project work.
 
Recent Experience
- Advised Sogin (ENEL) on its decomissioning
nuclear activity in the territoritory of Russian Federation
- Advised Platinafinance on the acquisition
and development of their renewable Italian portfolio
- Advised Gaz de France on the proposed acquisition
of a wind farm in Southern Italy
- Advised the Trinergy group on the lease
of two wind farm projects to two limited liability partnerships promoted
by Matrix-Securities Limited and all related financing arrangements
- Advised Trinergy Group on its €112 million
acquisition of the 250MW IVPC 2000 and IVPC 6 wind farm projects in Italy
and related €130 million acquisition financing arrangements and the €170
million IVPC 2000 and €120 million IVPC 6 project financing arrangements
- Advised Matrix-Securities Limited on the
acquisitions by fourteen limited liability partnerships, by means of a
lease agreement, of fourteen wind farms located in Italy
- Advised Marubeni Europower on a 120 MW
wind farm project in Southern Italy, conducted through its own subsidiary
Aeolous Energia and Marubeni Europower Ltd
- Advised Horizon Inc. on the negotiation
of a Joint Venture Agreement between Horizon and ACEA for the development
of a 400 Mw CCGT in Central Italy
