Maren Brandes joined Watson, Farley & Williams in October 2005 as a partner and heads the shipping finance group in the Hamburg office. She is qualified as a German lawyer and has, since 1998, been advising on all matters related to ship finance and shipping. Maren Brandes mainly assists German and international banks with the financing of newbuildings and second hand tonnage. Other experience includes shipyard related matters, marine insurance, sale and purchase, cruise and dispute resolution.
