Summary
Lisa joined Watson, Farley & Williams
as a lawyer in 2004 in the EU and competition law team. Since joining
WFW, Lisa has advised on the application of competition law in various
sectors including music publishing, water, shipping, healthcare and chemicals,
both in relation to behavioural issues and merger control. In particular,
Lisa has been heavily involved with filing three complaints before the
European Commission, and one with the Office of Fair Trading. Lisa
has also assisted in advising companies under investigation by the OFT,
in situations involving applications for leniency, and has recently been
involved in representing an intervenor in an appeal before the Competition
Appeal Tribunal.
 
Recent Experience
- Medical equipment: advice
with regard to a complaint filed with the European Commission concerning
anti-competitive activities in the medical equipment market
- Music: acted on behalf of a music
publisher with regard to a complaint filed with the European Commission,
and provided general advice in relation to commercial agreements
- Thames Water: assisting with
the representation of Thames Water as an intervener before the Competition
Appeal Tribunal in a case brought by Albion Water
- Maritime transport: advice
in relation to pooling arrangements
- Ports: advice to a large port
on general competition law issues
