Eugenio Tranchino is the founder and current Head of the Italian offices of Watson, Farley & Williams. He specialises in acquisition finance, project finance and restructuring, with particular emphasis on infrastructure and renewable projects in Italy and Europe. Eugenio graduated in 1997 and in 1998 he obtained an LLM in European Business Law from the University of Paris. Eugenio is admitted to both the Italian and French Bar, and he is fluent in Spanish, English and French in addition to his native Italian. Between 1997 and 2002, Eugenio was an Associate at major international law firms in Paris (Lovells), Milan and Rome before joining Watson, Farley & Williams. He has also acted as legal adviser at the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Department of Legal Services. Eugenio’s recent experience includes advising private equity firms and lenders in acquisition finance, project finance and restructuring, especially in the renewable sector.
