  • advising Genesis Petroleum Corporation plc, the AIM listed oil and gas company, on the £10m investment by Aker Capital ASA and Petroleum Geo Services AS  
  • advising Albidon Limited, the ASX and AIM listed mining company, in connection with equity fundraisings of £23m and project financing of US$60m through Barclays and European Investment Bank for its Munali nickel project in Zambia
  • advising Golar LNG Limited on its A$11.5m investment in, Australian Stock Exchange listed, Liquefied Natural Gas Limited
  • advising Seven Publishing Limited on the acquisition of New Crane Limited, the publisher of Sainsbury’s Magazine from Delia Smith and others, and on a related private equity fundraising
  • advising Odebrecht S.A. on the US$153m sale of Odebrecht Oleo & Gas Ltda, including its Brazilian oil and gas exploration and production interests, to Enterprise Oil plc
  • advising Vivendi Universal SA (listed on the Paris Bourse) on a Euro 600m restructuring of its investments in one of the leading Polish mobile telephone operators and advising Vivendi's joint venture vehicle on the acquisition of several fixed line and cable companies in Poland from Elektrim SA for Euro 491m
  • advising Hardman Resources Ltd, the ASX and AIM listed oil and gas company, on fundraisings exceeding £150m including:
    (i) a £65m accelerated bookbuild by JP Morgan Cazenove and Oriel Securities; and  
    (ii) a £33.5 million share placing and £36.5m rights entitlement issue to raise aggregate funds of approximately £70m - this was the first Australian rights entitlement issue using CREST Depository Interests.
