New Corporate Partner joins WFW

Watson, Farley & Williams ("WFW"), a leading international law firm, is pleased to announce the appointment of Eric Diamantis who joins the Paris office as partner in its International Corporate Group today.
Eric joins WFW from Armfelt & Associés where he was a Partner in the Energy and Infrastructure team. Prior to this, he worked for law firms Moquet Bordes and Paul Hastings.
Eric is an expert in the fields of project development and risk management. He has advised project companies as well as developers/sponsors, governments and other infrastructure projects, in France and abroad. His area of expertise includes the energy sector, but also that of the transport and ICT sectors.
Energy projects include advising an Asian oil & gas operator with respect to projects in Africa, advising a major electrical systems manufacturing company in relation to the extension of an oil refinery in Egypt and advising a major International Bank in the issuance of bonds by a French energy trader.
Eric is a graduate of the Écoles des Hautes Études Commerciales, a leading French business school, and also has a degree from the Paris Institute of Political Sciences. He holds a post-graduate degree in civil law from the University of Paris II. He is currently Vice-President of the Euro-Mediterranean think-tank “Ipemed”.
