 WFW to host Seminar on "Rice Export Contract Default" 16th May 2008

WFW is to host a seminar looking at the problems faced in Asia due to the turbulent rice market. Prices have increased by up to 200% in a matter of months and some Asia Governments are banning exports. In turn there are numerous defaults on contracts to supply.

The seminar will cover the following issues; Thai Export Ban, Shipment Extension, Export Licence Obligations, Force Majeure, Contract Frustration, GAFTA Arbitration, Set aside award in Thai Court. Further details are available on our seminar page.
